I've considered doing this, but I'll pick up a used cover in perfect condition, and I'll be painting mine is exact match Slate Blue... if I ever get around to it.

I just painted my engine cover tonight because i was bored lol

Haha I can't wait, Same thing with mine, It was at night and it was freezing out with loads of wind hahaah, So i kinda missed a side but you can't tell hahaha.

It was 37 degrees out and i was wearing my wife beater, PJ pants, and sandals...i was smoking a stoge so i wont get cold, but it didnt help lmao

Sorry for the dark pictures, i took them in my dark garage. Turning my headlights on helped out a bit though lol
The front may seem that i missed a few spots but thats because of the reflection of my lights bouncing off light from the white garage door (just to make that clear) lmao

I gotta say, that black cover really works, but someone else said it and I agree...
You have to paint that radiator overflow tank to really get the full effect.
