Footwell Ambient Installation

I am surprised that no one has posted any pics regarding the OEM footwell ambient lights (which by the way are sweet looking @ nite) so here goes:

Driver Side Ambients

Driver Side Ambients & Illuminated Kicks

Nice job looks really nice, and your pics came out about 1000x better than mine!

FYI: the lights are angled so you can turn them around if you want the light to spread towards the seat, i have it that way and it looks really nice lighting up the entire foot area then hitting th elight back at the carpet

Looks good. One of these days, I'll get around to doing both.

Yeah, I keep forgetting about these. Someone here got these about a year ago for a bday present and posted some pics when he was done.

kool_yaar: i had them angled toward my feet initially, but didn't much like the look so i decided to angle them towards the carpet. to each their own....

NoG35S: no it was not a hard install. the hardest part was removing the trim/ panels/glove box. after that, all you have to do is drill, plug it into your glove box circuit, and put the panels back on. install took me about less than an hour
and they come on whenever your headlights are on

Mr Twin Turbo (aka Terry)/ Aeson: do it. it makes your G stand out @ nite. to be honest, i was jealous of how my wife's MDX had blue footwell ambients and i wanted to get them myself...and then was pleasantly surprised when Infiniti offered this

Yep, PM Rick or Tony @ Riverside. That's where I get most if not all of my OE from.

I want some!!!

You say they come on when the headlights are turned on... does that mean they don't turn on/off when the doors are opened/closed like the illuminated kick plates?

As long as your headlights are on, the ambients stay on regardless of whether your door is opened or not
