Did you paint the entire cover or just the inside area?

looks hot man.. but if u painted the dipstick black, took off that orange sticker, and painted the white overflow container black, WAY HOT.

I took off the cover tonight, and the mount Fuji can't come off w/o breaking it off. There are plastic mounting pins that, once pushed through the cover, are melted on the backside until flat against the underside of the shroud.

I guess you could xacto knife the backside of the pins off, but then you'd have to glue it down once you were done. I don't know which way is easier: taking it off or taping it down lol.

This is just for now but i have a little project that im going to do amd its going to look even sicker. It's going to cost a pretty penny but it'll be worth it lol

You only painted the inside area that was silver/grey, right? (and not the entire cover).

Ya bro, just the grey areas in the center on the engine cover.
I had like 2 pounds of tape on it cuz most of it is already black lmao

Thanks, I'm just worried about the color match. I guess I could spray the entire thing with clear if I had to.
