Dman sucks your G got hit! Glad it's all fixed and good as new now! We had 2 rear ended G35 Sedans last year. One was similar to yours and was about a $12K job. Then as soon as we fixed that one, another one came in that was even worse than yours, it had to have both L/R Qtr panels repalced, along with floor, trunk, both side rear frame rails, rear body, bumper,Exhaust, and whole load of other stuff, and that came out to like $16K in damages! But in the end you could not tell that it was even hit at all. SO be carefull ut there G drivers, seems that time of the month again! LOL

Here are some pics after. The paint match is awesome. The rear bumper fit could be a little better.

as for my diminished value case. I called my insurance company, and they said sorry we don't pay out on that. Which is what I expected. So I called the insurance of the at fault party and they told me to go pound sand. I told them I had already called a lawyer and he said I could get 6500 from them, and that I am giving them a change to pay me 5500 right now. The dude laughed at me, and said that diminished value does not exist. I asked him if he had a daughter, he said yes. Then I asked him if he would buy a car for her that had a carfax report if being in an accident where %40 of the cars value was paid out to fix a bent frame. He said probably not. And I said thanks for proving my case. My lawyer and the state will be calling you tomorrow. Ha f*cker.. I did actually did call a lawyer; they said they would do every thing; all I had to do was give them the information. But they take %30 of the paycheck. If we loose I don't pay any thing. I am thinking of using this as my last resort. The state is closed today. So im going to call them and say wtf, and see where that gets me. If that doesn't work I guess ill be lazy and go with the lawyer.

EWG35:
when you called the Insurance Commissioner, how was the conversation? do you file a claim? im sure each state is slightly different. How was you claim received. IE were they on your side or did you have to argue with them a little?

thanks

It did not go that well, but keep in mind these people are former insurance employees. I don't think I filed a complaint but when calling the insurance co. they began singing a different tune once I told them I would. Every state is different. How liberal is your state? Liberal states suck, mine is conservative which helps the victim. Fight with passion.

They just STOLE $5 or $6k of value from you. Would you let someone steal $6k out of your bank without a fight? Good Luck!
