I'll bet they gave you an itemized list of repairs, scan it and post it if you can.

Be sure to redact anything you don't want public....

14 sounds over kill to me.looks like you are going to need rear body quarter floor rt rail blend the trunk and door for color match. depending from the cost of parts i see this being in the 8 to 10 thousand

ya it sucked,

the whole trunk floor was gone too,
it crushed the spare tire and that whole area.

here is the slip, for some reason i thought it was 14k but its 11 k on here.
maybe i was thinking of the $2200 for the rental as well,,,
any way total cost was ~11k

mm you were right, i was thinking of the total hit to the other person insurance, which included my rental and out of pocket expenses, which came to 14 and change.

if you look at the slip, the most expensive part was the rear rim, freaken $766 WTF

wow, im sorry to see that. i am assume the person who rear ended you is paying for the damage? yeah that's also expensive for the OE rims. you could probably get 4 decent rims in the private classifieds for that much

Ya she is paying 100% of it.

my insurance footed the bill + my rental, - the deductable, and then they are going after her insurance for the total. my insurance will send me a check for the deductable when her insurance company pays my insurance.

Amica is the ****, they had my car towed from my house to the shop and had me in a rental before lunch the same day. i got hit on my morning comute. i was in a rental 3 hours after i called amica to report the claim.

Make sure you get a check for diminished value. Do a search in g35 07+ sedan and you will find my thread. Your car will be worth substancially less after this repair. Make sure you fight for this payment. You might get $4k+.

That looks like just a parts list. Did you get one with all the actual repair times and paint times?

your parts list does not look to bad i see some things that they will not use. The money is not coming from you so you dont have to think about it. If they are not busy i see your car getting done at the end of week 2 so one week to pull cut and weld it together 2 days to prime and paint floor and cut in the jambs. 2 days to sand tape and paint. 1 day to put back together and clean nice a pretty for you. 3 days for mistakes so i say 16 to 18 days. Good luck and keep us posted. I would like to see pics of the floor when it is done please.
