Just curious, but when did you call?

Juan replaced Tony so he should know. I have Rick's cell number so I'll give him a call to see what's up.

Thanks for the info!

I called yesterday Monday March 7. Spoke with Juan who said he was still in contact with Rick. Juan said he will call me back with quote but haven't heard back yet.

I called other source you mentioned, Amplified Motorsports, and left message. Haven't heard from them yet either. Their outgoing message on voice mail was generic type from phone company, no mention of Amplified Motorsports.

Thanks again for your help 2GoRNot2G.

PS I am sure price has gone up due to Yen exchange rate these days, plus with rising price of fuel, shipping costs are rising too.

Well I struck out with Riverside Infiniti, haven't heard back. And I called left msg and email with Amplified. Email address doesn't work. No return call.

Searching on internet I came across http://www.raceinspired.com They replied to my email request, say they have Tanabe for G 35 sedan in stock and list price as 565.80 which seems pretty good. Tanabe site list them at 730.00.

Does anyone have any experience with Race Inspired? I have never purchased from them before.

Thanks for all the info and pics, 2GoR. Your car looks great! Sent ya a PM re: springs.

Will the Tanabe exhaust and springs fit on an AWD '08?

Unfortunately Rick left Riverside Infiniti, so they aren't very repsonsive anymore. I'm not familiar with Race Inspired, but that price seems pretty competitive.

The exhaust should work on the X, but I'm not sure about the springs. I've heard that the rear tends to sag a little when you put these Tanabe's on an X. Eibach and other manufacturer's have different springs for the X... probably with slightly higher spring rates due to the extra weight the X carries.

I hear ya bro. Hope all is well though. I can't seem to keep myself away from work nowadays. I've been missing all the good meets due to my busy work schedule and what not. I started to work Saturdays too which really blows!

Anyway, there's a meet coming up in abt a week or so.

5/19 Thurs Meet

After going through this thread I want the Tanabeeess too! But, that huge tip just bothers me. Someone suggested cutting the tips, so could you replace them with magnaflow ones?

Also, anyone compared these axle backs to custom fitting magnaflow mufflers at the two ends? Its hard to tell from videos...

I personally stayed away from the Tanabe's b/c I didn't like the oversized tips. But I honestly would not think it would be cost effective to fabricate the Tanabe mufflers and weld on the Magnaflows. If you are going to do all that and spend all that $$, you are much better off going with a full catback system.

Maybe your right. The tips are like $75 a piece. Although welding is pretty cheap. I'm surprised not more people have tried to weld just some quality mufflers. I put Remus on my previous ride and they sounded nice.

Tanabe ($600) + Magnaflow tips ($75 x 2) + Welding/Install ($120) = $870 ish

You can get the Invidia Gemini for that price.
