G37 coupe rims mounted, *New pics on page 5*

***New pics on page 5***

Paid for my wheels a minute ago, and hopefully they'll be here end of the week/early next week. Amazingly, the wife didn't give me any grief, considering she was home when the JIC box arrived in the mail and I hadn't told her I ordered it

Here's the wheels:

Now I just have to decide on tires. I was originally thinking of trying out the Yoko S-drives, but my friend who installs tires said that they're prone to "cupping," and that the set he tried to warranty with Tire Rack was denied. I guess I'll just stick with my tried/true Kumho SPTs.

I PM'd you, but it must have gotten lost in your "Sea-of-an-inbox."

BTW, the 2nd hole on the sways is PERFECT. I easily exceed the limits of the crap RE's, and I can't wait to get some real tire under there.

Rims came in, woot:

Tires will be here on Friday (I'm going to run FK452's), post some pics when I get them all mounted. The rim color is a bit darker than I expected, but I was pleasantly surprised as they seem a real dark gunmetal (which will actually look better). To tell the truth, the color looks like a GTR oem rim color.

Poll: should I use the painted center caps or the stock silver ones? I'm leaning toward the stockers, let me know what you guys think.

IMO i like the contrast of the silver center caps/ silver lug nuts on gunmetal/ black wheels. i plan to powdercoat my G37S coupe wheels a matte black this coming fall and running the above set up ie silver caps & lugs on black wheels

I am for sure. I just gotta get an idea of that price, so I can adjust my asking price when I sell the stock wheels without them
