I don't ever recall saying I was getting them for sure, only that I was thinking about it. You and Mike cheat I'll trade you pics, my tail light pics for your exhaust pics, deal?

BTW, just finished installing them, 10 minute job max. If I had daylight it would've been faster too lol.

Tools:
1. Small flat head screwdriver
2. Socket wrench (5/16 fit, didn't check metric equivalent).

Tail light removal:
1. Remove the middle trunk liner piece that holds the trunk latch (body side). 4 push pins hold it in place (they have the trunk net anchors on them), and the panel pops out (held in by tension clips).
2. Remove the 4 push pins that hold the left and right side trunk panels in place. There's 2 on each side.
3. Pull back liner on the right and left side. The liner has enough "give" so that you can remove the nuts and take out the light without taking the entire panel off.
4. Unplug the harness from the oem light. You can do this by hand.
5. Each left and right light is held in place by 3 nuts (5/16 fits). Remove nuts.
6. Be careful when you take the last nut off as the light may be loose and may fall off the body. If it does, it will scratch your paint so beware.
7. Remove light.
8. Reverse procedure above.
9. Repeat for opposite side.

I'm not sure about the leds being brighter (some have said it is), but I personally love the amber blinker. I didn't much care for the light being all red, and it is a personal choice in the end.

I'll take some pics tomorrow.

Same, I haven't noticed them brighter at all. POST PICS ASAP!!!

I must say tho, on all other Gs I've seen, the red blinker completely fades away with brake lights on and it's really not even noticeable

Congrats on the tails dude they'll look good your ride.

BTW I remember you saying something about them in another thread too. lol

I traded my JDM tails with Terry a while back and the USDM tails are just as bright as the JDM ones that were on my car.

I love the red blinker on the USDM tails. It looks so much cleaner

Here's a few "quickie" pics while I'm at work. I'll try to take some better ones at home.

I must say that I really like how they look. It's really a subtle mod to begin with, and even my co-worker didn't notice until I told him what was changed. To me, the outer circle breaks up the monotony of all the red on the rear end, and the I simply like the amber blinkers.
