So i have a G37X and my boy has a CLK550 and he keeps taking me everytime we race by about 7-8 cars. What mods do i need to keep up with him besides turbo?

 

Humm ok first of you're in the G35 section not the G37 section.

As for what mods you could get to keep up with him besides a turbo......I'd have to say......Turbo lol. As far as I'm aware of it'll be near impossible to take on a CLK550 without forced induction. Probably a supercharger will help just as much as a turbo, nothing else will get you near him.

Yeah it should be around 5 seconds. You should not get a beat like that.

CLK550 5.5L V8 382hp / 391ft-lb - 3700lb
G37x 3.7L V6 328hp / 269ft-lb - Over 3700lb

the 3.7 is a bit more responsive to mods than the 3.5 in our G's.
Catback + HFC + CAI + Tune should get you over 280awhp easy.
You also want as little weight as possible. Get ride of the spare and any stuff you have in the car.

Also, since you are AWD, race him from a stop. You should certainly gain a good distance before he starts catching up.

 

it says it on the website 5.1 0-60 there has been independed runs made some people get it as low as 4.7 secs and 12.8 in 1/4 mile stock.

On the roll i get destroyed, the higher in speed i go the higher his gap gets by 150 he is over 10 cars away....

There is no way a G37 is ever keeping up with that car. There are many tests with these cars running low 13's in the 1/4 mile even in the heavier E class. Here are some dragtimes entries for the E550 - the clk550 will be faster:
