I was actually able to use the clips without drilling. They are on there SOLID and really clamp down the diffuser.

Really? So you sandwiched the diffuser and bumper inside the clip? ...I never even thought of that.

you don't really need to drill or put any screws, since the clips can hold the corners very well, but if you don't mind put a screw.. that's ok.

Just installed it and wanted to let ppl know that the clips have more than enough clamping to keep the light diffuser on, so NO drilling required!
