I got a few more pics today a bit further away. the car is really dusty and needs a good wash though.

Oh and mishmosh, you were right about the right side being a bit higher. I looked again and it sure was. it was like 3mm's higher towards the edges. I'm gonna adjust it tomorrow morning

You know, I mounted mine kinda of like you have yours on the left...inside the indent. But I kind like how your right side is more flush with the bumper and you can't tell there's an indent. Does it sit better on the right or the left or the same?

Great pics in any case! I love your license plate--so classy. Ohio just revamped their license plate and it is gawdy as hell!

It sits good either way. You can lift it up a few mm's to cover up the indent no problem. That's what I'm probably gonna do.

At least you guys can choose the letters and numbers haha

actully the diffuser has to sit inside the indent to make it flush, because if goes over the indent should be look funny.

q8y_drifter did you put the clip on each side of the bottom part for extra secure?

Did you guys change the diffuser a bit were it goes into the recessed area for the license plate?

No, all diffusers are the same, it just the customer wanted a straight line (license plate area), so we cutted it like that

^ Will those clips be able to grasp the diffuser from the sides with enough force at high speeds(I know it wont come off thanks to the other 3 mounting points) or will drilling be a better option to assure it does not lift at speed?

the clips are def. strong enough. I just had to pry mine off to take my diffuser off.

I highly recommend you install the clips. They slide right on and arent noticeable unless under the car

^ Thanks bat, i will be putting these on for sure, my only real concern was over wheather the clips are strong enough or do i need to drill. So i guess i just have to snap these on with no drilling. yay! Thanks.

btw if you dont mind, why did you take it off? also wont you now have to reapply new 3M tape all around?

Looks great, can't wait to see it in person, i'll get F/G versiona and i'll get it painted in body color, i don't think C/F would be noticeable on a blue slate like it does on lighter colors.

Ok guys tried to install it today, firstly getting the stock retainers off from under the rear bumper were a pain in the... cause they were stuck on there good thanks to all the dirt, salt and snow.

Anyways now the issue is that Autokits sent me the wrong retainer/clip for the top center hole on the diffuser. Its too small and is not wide enough to hold the diffuser to the bumper when inserted, it simply drops out. I did go to a few auto stores but could not find even one that would fit.

Now the clip i got is different from what Q8y has in the pic so that could be reason, so Q8y did you buy that clip yourself or was that sent by autokits?

This is how my clip looks like.

Also i cant confirm now since i havent installed it yet but on my test fitting it seemed to me as it would look like Q8y's install, in the sense that the left side might sit a bit lower(inside the grove) SLIGHTLY than the right side which seemed to be flush just like Q8y.
But for now plz DONT hold me to that since i can only confirm that once i actually install it where it might end up going on perfect with the retainer to hold it in place...
