Looks really good color matched... The fitment is so good on the AutoKits rear diffuser that it could pass as an OEM piece.

Sorry to see the bent wheel... I actually bent my LF wheels a few weeks back, as well... I hit a pothole that felt like a crater when I hit it. LOL

Thankfully mine only bent on the inside lip, so the outside lips still looks perfect... I'll be getting it straightened this week.

^ thanks, and yes bent rims are a big pain . Luckily i was able to find a source for Wheel Doctor who came and picked up my wheel from my house, fixed it to near new condition and brought it back to me the next evening!

BTW Your car looks sick! I washed my car yesterday and want to snap some pics today but it rained through the night and is still raining so i will try to post some better pics once this rain leaves us.

Thanks, man! It's coming along... I've got a few other things I'm gonna do with it this Spring, and then I'm gonna slow down on the modding for a few months. LOL

So, how did your wheel turn out? Did they have to refinish the outer lip at all after they straightened it? I'm a little nervous about getting mine fixed.

Well these MRR wheels have the hard clear coating on top of the machine polished lip and after i bent i could see the clear coat bubble and about to crack off, the guy offered me two options: one was to strip the entire clear coat and reapply a complete coat which was twice as expensive and second was to cut out the bubbled clearcoat section and apply "urethane clear coat" on it which would blend in with the stock CC.

I went with the second option to save money and it came out great and better than expected, you cant tell of any damage if you dont know of it, but if you look real close and look for it then you can spot the little transition between the two coats but VERY unnoticeable.

Btw my car was riding like i was driving on square tires with all sorts of vibrations and thudding sounds. The wheel doctor guy did a great job of getting it back straight and balancing it and the car drives solid once again but would need alignment soon.

Hope that calms some of your nerves!

Very cool. Thanks for the detailed info. I've already found a place to repair mine. They "think" they can just straighten the inside lip and that should get it almost perfect. If not, then they will straighten the outside lip too and I'll probably have them redo the clear coat on the entire lip.

Just out of curiosity, what did your wheel guy quote you for the repair? and to refinish the wheel?

@2GorNot2G: i knew the guy from a while back so he cut me a special deal for $90 flat for straightening, clear coat fix, polishing and mount & balance(which alone is worth $20) so i was very happy with it considering others wanted $125-150 just to straighten and $25-50 for clear coat fix because it required some "special machine for such rims with lips"... picked the wrong guy to fool.

@harpoon: Is this the response i get for posting 5 pics... tsk tsk
