No. The production version is still yet to be released. Mine is just the prototype version. However, the production version will look identical to my setup according to Ark.

Thanks for the updates and nice review, Jason. Any word as to whether or not this system has any resonators? From the originally pics you posted on the system it doesn't appear there are any resonators. If not, that could explain the excessive drone and extra db's.

Adrian, sorry for the delayed response. I recall from install that the Ark catback does come with dual resonators and utilizes an x-pipe. Alex from Ark took bunch of pics during the install which I am still waiting on him to upload. I know he's been pretty swamped with the recent bbq meet @ Ark. The shops also been busy with the G37 coupe guys comin in for their revised catback system. Hopefully he'll have all the pics & clips up sometime this week.

Very cool. Thanks for the info, Jason. I can see the resonators in the pic that Allen posted above, but can't see the x-pipe in that pic. Can't wait to see the other pics once Alex uploads them and you can post them.

I think it uses an H-pipe as opposed to a X-pipe. The H-pipe is located just down stream from the flex sections.

Gotchya.. That makes sense. So long as it uses some type of crossover pipe.

New video clip is finally up! Thanks for uploading/editing everything, Alex.

FYI The new stuff start @ 2:21.

Btw don't freak out cuz of the smoke! That's perfectly normal when you install a brand new exhaust.

As you guys can see in the beginning of the video. Ark catback uses an x-pipe with dual resonators.

Sounds and fits great, Jason. No rasp whatsoever and it's not too loud IMO. Do you have HFC's on the car?

The exhaust also sits nice and tight to the chassis, which is very nice for us heavily lowered folks. Do you know if it will work with the GT-Spec M-Brace?

Yes, now that the exhaust has some miles on it.. I like the sound a lot more. It's got a very deep aggressive tone in the low end and has a very sporty throtty pitch in the top end. Overall, I am really enjoying the exhaust! I've been driving w/o music for the past week or so..

In regards to the HFC, I am still undecided if I want to install the Berk or not.. for the performance aspect, I want to slap it on asap.. but I don't want to ruin the sweet sound of the exhaust now, and have it turn raspy or creat any unnecessary droning. I think I will most likely end up installing and if I don't like the sound, I'll just take it off.

As far as your question regarding the GT braces, I can't really answer. Only brace I have right is the GTspec FSB. So I am not quite sure about their other stuff.. For sure, there is enough clearance for some beefy aftermarket sway bars.

I hope that helps.

Now, how to do keep this damn thing clean.. lol

I think they have exhaust for the 1st, but wonder if they sound the same. That is the sound I am looking for.
