I'm already scraping on speedbumps without any braces. lol
You'd be surprised. The 6-point brace is the lowest hanging brace, but mine doesn't really hang any lower than my Invidia mid-pipe. the flanges between the mid-pipe and x-pipe are still the first thing to hit when I bottom out, then the chassis brace will rub just before the resonators. I look at it this way... the 6-point chassis brace doubles as an exhaust guard / protector. Originally Posted by Borna

When I removed mine for Wes, there wasn't a scratch on it.

So it seems like I may need a front camber kit :S
I was in for an oil change this weekend (Amsoil kicks *** btw) and I asked my mechanic to have a look at my tires.
He noticed a slight feathering of the inside tires of the front. He highly recommmends getting the front camber kits.. So i guess Im gonna be looking into that.

man you're in Dubai it's like paradise compared to where I am.
I'm planning on getting the 4-point front brace, but I think the rear 6-point brace will be toooo low.
I can see how it would act like my exhaust cover, but I'm scared it hooks onto something and rips my whole bottom end!!!

Hey Wes. If the tires are feathered then it is most likely due to the toe, not the camber. Negative camber can cause an excessive wear of the inside of the tire.. the wear is usually even, not feathered. If the wear is feathered or sawtoothed, then it is almost always due to incorrect toe settings, not camber. I highly doubt that you'll get too much tire wear due to your negative camber settings. I'm running more negative camber then you and have virtually no excessive wear on the inside of my tires.Originally Posted by Wes_888

Thx for the info Adrian. I think maybe I'll continue to monitor the situation instead of jumping the gun. Originally Posted by 2GoRNot2G

Perhaps the term "feathering" that he used was actually pertaining to normal wear? I have no idea... :S
Cuz you've seen my specs for the front toe and camber. It seems okay.
Wes, you coming out to the LMC meet at the end of the month?
I could give you an opinion then if you like.

Hey Wes. If you don't feel comfortable waiting until the end of the month, you could always post up some detailed pics of your front tread. Just a thought...
