Vossen VVS-078s or Vossen VVS-084s?? which should i buy...i am ready to buy!

ok guys so sorry about all the threads but i have narrowed it down to these two rims. the 078s or the 084s. i am going to get the machined black finish with black lip on either rim i choose but i just dont know which to get! also what tire size is best to run in the rear? can i get away with running 275/30 in the back and 245/30 up front?? i am on eibach prokit springs. please let me know your opinions, thanks for the help!

Congrats on the purchase, I would've gone with the 084's too.
The 078's are nice too but the design in between the spokes takes away from the rest of the wheel.

Did you get the 084's with the black lip like in the pics? That would look really good with your car.

oh and no i got the 84s with the machined finish but chrome lip. i thought the chrome lip give it more of a pop. but i do agree the black lip would look nice with my car....but i think i could flip a coin and pick either one and it would look good. man i can't wait for these to get here!

Yeah it'll look good either way. The chrome lip will definitely make it pop more.
Be sure to post up some pics when you get them.

Dunno why but I don't like those rims, generally rims like that I don't like, maybe it's just me

Congrats on the purchase, I'm running 078 machine face/polish lip with black accents, I just put 15mm spacers all around, I even have a spare 078 as my full size spare, yes they are discontinued but a lot of companies still have them, u can check out my previous thread for pics of what they look like but I'll post some pics with my spacers in tomorrow, oh and they were discontinued because they came out with a newer model, this time without the extra peices inbetween each spoke, either way mine is a coupe, I think they look good on both sedans and coupe, someone has pics of there black sedan with 078 but I prefer the 084 on a sedan since it is more of a luxory look compared to the 078

I'm also running 84s on my Sedan, I choosed the Black Machined with chrome lip and I get alot of compliments everytime I take it out, btw Defratos yes is probably your own taste, I was never a fan of 5 spoke rims, but the reason why most of us go with this type of design is the easy to clean aspect, previous rim setup have always been mesh style and they were a pain to keep clean, trying to get behind the rims was never an easy task, I'm not saying that the rims are ugly, hell I like them even more this year in person they look better.

Eibach Sport suspension a Drop of 1.4 all around I believe, with SPC front and rear camber kits.

Here are two recent pics taken last week.

what is your rear tire size? i assume the front is the 245/35/20? i got 245/30/20 in the front and now am a little scared there will be too much of a gap with the 30 instead of 35 like you have. i as well have the eibach prokit suspension, but i am a sport model not AWD like yours.
