If this was originally black, how many people would try to make it chrome?

/\ I know. I think most people do it because the chrome chips easily and after a few years, looks like a$$.
If you're going to do it, do it this way though.
Leaving the top and bottom bars chrome screams Altima.

Looks great! I've used PlastiDip for a few different grilles over the past couple months, including my own...love the stuff.

Looks good Geemy. Especially love how it illustrates how this product can cover up chips pretty well!

I personally went with the PD because if it can survive the nitty gritty job of tool handling, i'm sure it will work just as well for driving abuse. Since it's rubber, it'll literally "absorb" minor rock impacts instead of chipping. If the grille was originally black (which, chances are, is painted) i probably would still PD it for ruggedness.

^Well, yeah. It's a cheap mod that generally looks really good.

i wonder if the grille would hold up to powdercoating for a nice and durable matte finish...probably not due to the heating involved...

If it was originally black, I wouldn't have touched mine, I would just leave it alone.
I personally did mine not cause I wanted something different, it just does look better in black.

NICE HEADLIGHTS!! I did my a couple months ago. I went with gloss black. It seems it looks better on light cars. Get the OEM chin lip and you are set!!! I HATE CHROME!!! GET THAT CHIN!!!
