Serious?!?!?!?!?!??!?!?

...I hope their fingernails fall off and pubic hairs grow on their top lip!!!

Any tips on how to remove/clean the glue residue?

I'm thinking of using Goo Gone. Will this ruin the paint?

Thnx in advance!

Use a hair dryer and heat it up then start rubbing with goo gone, works like a charm.

Now that the emblem is off, might as well debadge the whole rear. Get some floss and floss it through each of the letters and do the same process with the dryer/goo gone.

peanut butter is your friend

Rub it over the glue let it sit for a few hours on a warm day. The oil in the peanut butter will saturate the adhesive and you'll be able to wipe it right off. Fresh wash and wax afterwards.

I think I'm more mad about the scratch. Take the emblem, just PLEEEEEEEEASE do it cleanly. FUHKERS!

Update: found more scratches than just that one. =..(

hmm that sux...at least it wasn't the one off the engine cover. At the cruise in a year ago someone pried off the infiniti emblem off the engine cover. all that was left was the plastic studs from the backside of that emblem.

^ Someone's done the same thing to mine. I still haven't gotten a new one though.
Prolly tell them to toss one on when I take it in for the next service.

I tried getting a separate emblem, you have to get a whole new engine cover which is like ~90 dollars.

^ Well that sucks. Guess I'll just get the new one and paint it before installing it.
Thanks for the info.

Alright, finished last night but it wasn't as easy as people made it sound. Haa! I used a hair dryer to soften the glue and then rubbed Goo Gone with a microfiber towel. But the towel was not getting the glue off, so I had to use my thumb and now I got some phat blisters. Guess no Madden for awhile!

I used Scratch Doctor's Scratch Removal afterward but I can still see a silhouette of the emblem's outline. And there were additional scratches found underneath the glue.

Here's some photos, and it's weird, but I'm actually feelin' this debadged look! It's like a reverse-debadge job; I guess I can be the first to rock the I N F I N I T I look. YAY-YUUUUUH!
