To get the outline off, try using rubbing compound? But it might take off clear coat and leave it hazzy

It's been a few days and there is still a silhouette of the emblem. =(

The only thing I can think of is going to a body shop and having them buff it out and repaint. Any idea how much that would cost?

And if I were to do that, would there be anything noticeable from buffing/repainting that small section? Or would they repaint the entire backside of the trunk?

Wow. what is up with all the people getting stuff jacked from their car. It seems the world is getting more and more effed up as time passes.

We all hope the people who did this burn in a car crash.
