another less-bling painted grill

too lazy to do it myself, and spend almost $50 with materials and labor. turned out great, with a few simple steps and about 10 cigarettes.


>> materials used... minus the sanding sponges


>> grill removed



>> wet sanding


>> applying first coat of underspray in my ghetto paintbooth -- 98 ford e150 lol


>> 4 underspray coats, 8 flat black coats... and 2 hours to dry


>> my installer Danny reassembling everything


>> installed the finished product




i love it

Looks great man! Definitely has a different texture compared to Plasti Dip but still looks pimp

$50 on material?? Mine was $15 max. None of the less looks good and interesting texture....

I like the texture, I spent like $25. Primer, Paint, Clear. Sand Paper.

BTW in case you guys didn't know the Duplicolor rubberized undercoat comes like that with the wrinkled/grainy texture after you spray it on and it dries, its mainly used for truck beds with undercoating and boats n such.
