Thanks for the bumper info, it's a nice look for sure. Be sure to replace the crappy Fresnal lens when you open up your headlights. The STiR lens is SO much better, much cleaner cutoff w/ nice blue flicker on the edges and looks 10x better in the housing. The lenses are here at www.theretrofitsource.com Also use their butyl sealing tape instead of silicone, a much better seal

Thnaks for the head ups on the lens and seal!!
I have done the baking process on my 07 G35S sedan and now its time for this sedan to say good bye to the last visible chrome.
Which one of the lens did you get?

The sedans use the STiR (3") and the Coupes use the TSX-R (2.5")
Here's a good post thread about the lenses FWIW~

The top part is out of fiberglass and the bottom part is out of Carbor Fiber.
The bottom has a nasty crack in it now.. ran over a tree root

I dipped the lip part of the bumper for now and will probably have it fixed after winter passes.

you know the real carbon fiber won't crack on you by running over little stuff like that. Basically all that is is fiber glass just wrapped with carbon film on top, making it look like carbon fiber, and then they charge outrageous prices for that! The real pure carbon fiber materials cost $$$$

By the way is that front bumper by Carbon Signal???

Ohh and I love that front grille you got bro! The front bumper as well but you already know it lol

After Taking a close look at the crack itself, I noticed that yes the bottom layer is Fiberglass but the top layer is actual weaved carbon sheet. and then they put a clear coat layer on top to finish it all off.

Anyways I got my Sport side skirts off of my black G on this one and a STI spliiter lip that I modded to fit my bumper But wont be getting it all painted and the bumper fixed until spring. I just dont see the point of getting it done before winter.

The bumper is not by Carbon Signal, I honestly dont like their bumper, my bumper is all flat faced when you look from the side and the CS is too bulky and sticks out at the bottom, hope that makes sense. Look at the side shot of my bumper and then the CS, plus the side openings are completely different.
