IP 2008 G35S w/ M45S Shift Knob and Ark Exhaust PICS AND VIDEO!
Hi everyone. Bought my IP 2008 G35S (Navi/Tech) last month. Mods So far: M45S ****, R2c Intakes, Ark Exhaust, Nylon bumper plugs. Just wanted to share some pictures and thoughts. Sorry for the big pictures, but I wanted to allow everyone to see details better. No pictures of the R2c intakes..seen one seen them all right?
M45 Shift ****. This mod was worth every penny. Thanks Garnet for the DIY!!! It soooo smooth to the touch and operates ALOT smoother then the piece of crap **** the car came with! I recommend this mod to everyone!

Nylon Bumper Hole Plugs. Was fairly easy and cheap to do. I used this DIY https://g35driver.com/forums/body-in...per-plugs.html. So far I have been lucky and drove past a cop in a neighborhood and he didn't seem to care that I didn't have my front plates...only a matter of time though

ARK Exhaust! My favorite mod so far. It's turned quite a few heads. VERY DEEP tone. I met the guys at Ark. They installed my exhaust. Shout out to Ted, Mike, Sean, and Alex from Ark! These guys are very professional. When everything was installed, Alex was helping me load my OEM exhaust into my car, I received a phone call from one of my clients and had to run off to support them When I came back 15 minutes later, I found Alex did all the heavy lifting and loaded the DIRTY OEM exhaust into my car CAREFULLY making sure everything was covered so my interior would not be damaged. THANK YOU Alex!

Here's a soundclip I uploaded. I recommend going to youtube and selecting 720p so you can get better sound quality from the video. Sounds much deeper in person though.

I haven't been on g35driver for a few months since I have been busy with work. So I have been driving around with the Ark exhaust for a few months now and wanted to give more feedback.
The exhaust sounds even better when broken in. At low rpm(driving through parking lot, exiting drive way, low speed cruising) you can hear a clear "warble" sound. It's reminiscent of a Subaru "warble"...but with a VQ tone. At higher rpm you get a very smooth loud note + my R2C intakes start to scream.
I've been to the Infiniti dealership a few times now for maintenance and issues with my brakes. Each time a different mechanic or service adviser ask what kind of exhaust it is and compliment me on how good it sounds. I've also had another Infiniti owner there walk up to me and ask/compliment me on the exhaust.
Very happy with the purchase and customer service from Ark!
