Most companies that offer HFC's warranty their products against quality defects such as crack, leaks, etc but not them just getting toasted like that. It is expected for them to get damaged over time. You can try to contact BERK, but I can almost guarantee you that they won't cover it (maybe cut you deal on your new set). Also the normal expected life on aftermarket HFC's is just about 2-3 years, sometimes even sooner (as explained by BLUESLATE). HFC's aren't meant to last forever. If you want better reliability and cheaper alternative, it is better to go with testpipes IMO.

Nope haven't contacted them and TBH I'm not bothered to contact them,

I've already had my Invidia cats sitting with me for several months now so I'm just glad I've replaced them.

I'm also shocked at the state the Berks are in, but I figured that was normal with what I've recently read.

Yeah I would have gone the same route if I wasn't so impatient, but anyway I've got 1 year to go with this car and then hopefully I'll be moving on to something new and shiny lol

ART pipes are way too quiet... I miss the rumble of G.

Been driving the bone stock G for about 8 months... I think it's time to change up a little. I still have the MXP quad sitting in the garage, but I think I may just sell that as well. :/

Maybe I should just go straight pipes with no cat, no resonators, and no mufflers. hahahaha

I was also on OEM exhaust for a while now after I sold the ARK. Then I picked up the FI which I liked a lot. But I just had the new BERK exhaust installed this past friday. Sounds the best out of the 3 imo. I will post some video clips / pics soon.

Did you have the same symptoms, when overheating the car: https://g35driver.com/forums/v36-eng...berks-hfc.html ?

And what about hesitation, is it gone completely?

Because my car is really quick, when it's cold, but after some serious spirited driving it looses like 30% of its power...

Well you seem to be having the same problems I had.

The last few weeks with my Berks the car would hesitate and act funny in general. I did notice it hesitated more when hot.

With the new cats there is pretty much no hesitation at all, for me the problem I had were the metallic web inside had dislodged so it was moving about freely so you could imagine how it'll affect the exhaust and cause serious hesitation.

If you're 1 1/2 years into using the Berk and you feel like you're loosing power I'd recommend taking them out for an inspection.

the problem is my car is very quick, when cold and even after some spirited driving it is still quick, but when i push it REALLY hard and car gets really hot it starts to cut some power

and after cooling down my car a little (2-3 minutes easy driving), it is quick again!

the guy on myg37 thinks it could be borderline limp mode, so the hotter the car gets past the threshold, the more it cuts power... Maybe I should remove my huge custom fiberglass engine undercover, though it has all the vent holes as a stock plastic...

anyway I'm gonna check my cats soon and see, what is inside of them now, but also

Hmm I have had mine for about 4 months now.. Im thinking I should sell them for ART pipes now before they start to go bad so I can get a good return on them.. only 2000 miles on them.
