Did a major detail today with my new buffer

Got the PC 7424XP starter kit from DI and man did it make my car look so much better. Still some deeper scratches that wont come out but the hazing and spider webs are mostly all gone now. Took me about 7 hours today. Took my sweet time

Very nice man! What steps did you end up doing? Wax/sealant, and what polishes and pads?

Well i use my PH Car wash from Gliptone. Washed the car. Then clay bared the entire car..many was that bar dirty. I then used the M105 on the purple wool pad. 2-3 passes with medium pressure then 2 passes with really no pressure at all. I then used the M205 on the black bad for the finishing polish. 2 medium pressure passes and 2 normal passes. I then used my carbana wax from gliptone that i already had and that was it. I plan on doing another detail just before winter hits in the fall. For now ill just be using the quick detailer with my microfiber cloths

This paint had been neglected since 2007. You could just tell..but now hopefully i caught it just in time and i will be doing 2 full details a year from now until i sell the car in a few years
