Smile *TEASER* Custom Headlights from 180 Custom

I recently had my headlights done through 180custom (vendor on myg37). Here's quick teaser of the work they did for my 08 sedan. The lights will be shipped back to me tomorrow (should arrive in 3 to 5 biz days). These guys do some top notch work on custom headlights, paint services, and misc interior/exterior custom work on any vehicle. I highly recommend them! I will follow up with installed pics as soon as I get them back.

List of Mods:
  • Flat black housing
  • Color matched projector and parking light shrouds
  • Orb LED rings
  • Sti-R clear lense swap

UPDATED w/ more pics:
It was too late and dark outside for me to take pics of them in sunlight. So I was only able to take some night shots of the lights and some additional shots taken in my garage. Surprisingly, the LED orb rings are so bright that I could not capture a good circle of the LED's. They are really brighter than what I expected. But that's a really good thing b/c I was afraid they would look dim and cheap. However, they turned out great!!! The new cut off with the Sti-R lenses looks amazingly sharp as you can see in the pictures. Also, the clear lenses brings out another spectrum of purple hue from my 6000k Ultinons similar to euro cars. Really, these pics do the lights no justice whatsoever. I wish there was a way for me to capture some better pics of the lights. Only thing that I really dislike is the blacked out signals. I requested them to be left alone but 180 painted over them and blacked them out. I wished I had noticed in the pics that they sent but I was too excited to notice the blacked out signals. In the end, it really made the signals significantly dimmer when they flash. They may look better blacked out but at the same time, they decrease the overall brightness of the signals. They offered to fix the mistake and cover the shipping back to Cali but I don't want to deal with shipping lights again. The tabs are so damn fragile on these lights which can easily get damaged when shipping. I had mine packaged perfectly and Fedex still managed to crack a tab. It installed fine but I was still a lil upset that they damaged my brand new set of headlights. Overall, I am very happy about how the lights turned out. I will get some better daytime pics up soon after I wash my car over the weekend.

Look great! the new ORB led ring looks great as well. Get rid of the orange indicator bulb and get some chrome and it should look great imo... post pics when you get em installed. Also how much did you pay total?

Yes, the amber bulbs will be replaced as soon as I receive the lights. These were brand new set of headlights that I got from the dealership covered under warranty, so they still have all the OEM bulbs in them. I will be swapping to my 6000k Philips Ultinon + chrome signals + LED's at the time of the install. As far as pricing, look them up on myg37. They have a full thread of compilation of their work and pricing for each service. Just search 180 custom.

Look them up on myg37. They are one of the biggest sponsors for the g37 guys.

I love the clear lense mod! From the pics, I can see that it made a drastic difference in the overall clarity and the cutoff of the projectors. BTW you are lucky to be local to these guys. I'd do more stuff through them if I didn't have to deal with the cost of shipping parts back and forth.

Yeah the lenses and the shield mod make an insane difference, spacing the projector is VERY tricky because the spacer TRS supplies doesn't work well in this application so I had to custom fab a new spacer and tweak the lens placement for the sharpest cut off, if it's off even by a millimeter it throws off the sharpness completely. Hope you rock em with pride
