I will post pics tonight but I think I put on too much clear coat I used like 5 coats and it just looks grey... So if you do wheels just do like 1 or 2 coats

I also have the effex on my grill I did like 4 coats and you can't tell but when its sunny out it is still subtle but looks awesome!...did not clearcoat grille yet

Oh my bad lol I forgot about this thread haha btw it is a license plate not a cover lmao dont ask why, but I will try to take a pic tonight...my only warning is definitely do not use more than 2 or 3 light coats of clear or else it will be hard to remove

re-did the PD and did 2 light layers of gloss clear on the left half and matte clear on the right. will post pics tomorrow when it is dry and will attempt some peeling

these have held up great so far if ur still wondering! ive taken em out for some pretty spirited test runs and they hold up great! only got 1 small chip on 1 wheel and this is my daily!

Is this just to test the pd with clear or are you actually using this on your plates? I can't see how this is the slightest bit legal.

Lol no the plate on my car is gxxxv x ...plus I used too many clear coats the first time so It was permanent on the plate you see above lol so never use too much PD

I'm really curious and looking to PD my OEM chrome 17's until I find some ray 19's. Did you also spray the lugs or just leave those as is? I'm trying to figure out what would be the best solution, chrome lugs probably won't look decent with matte black wheels...
