Putting my old wheels to good use

Instead of having my stock 18's laying around, I decided to plasti-dip them black and installed them on my Honda Element. I also painted the grill, emblem and bumper. I lowered it with some MR Springs. It's like having a whole new car almost. Rides smoother and quieter.

Why don;t you paint/plastidip all the gray trim? Ive always wanted to see an element with NO grey trim. Everytime i see one i think of that.

I actually thought about painting the grey plastic black. But I would hate to see what it would look like when it starts rubbing off. Plasti-Dip adheres to hard plastic really well (like the grill), but the fenders are some what flexible.

Are those cars popular in Texas or something? I see your neighbor across the street has one too!

The elements are pretty popular here. Ive had the element since 03 and it has been the most useful vehicle. Its good on gas (24 mpg) and very versatile inside, capable of loading tons of equipment and cargo. I have 120K miles on it now, and never been in the shop once.
