2003 G35 Coupe Auto N/A
New to the community, VQ35DE what’s the best upgrades for an affordable N/A build

Hello everyone I’m from LA and just picked up a great condition clean title 03 G35 auto from Infiniti certified used dealership 2-3 weeks ago that was completely stock.

My c class was giving me such an headache with expensive sensors that kept going out and needing to be replaced I was so over it. I traded my car in, the dealership wanted 9k because of the condition. It wasn’t the cheapest but the condition is mint.

I wanted a super clean base car to work with that has been very well cared for. Since last two weeks I had the shop install a few goodies.

paint correction entire car
Apple car play radio, all new alpine speaker 🔊 5 chancel amp and 10” sub in back

ESR CR1 Wheels 19x9 by 19x10 perfect set up no rub and lots of grip (running -2 camber all the way around)
new OEM suspension/control arms all the way around
Swift Springs (made the handling amazing) will get BC or KW done the line CO’ down the line
3” cold are intake
75mm TB by hitachi with spacer
1/2 Plenum Spacer
LSD swap
Borla Headers
MR test pipes
2.5” y pipes and muffler delete 2.5
550cc Bosche injectors
Walbro 255

Purchased recently:
Tomei 266 10.8 lift. PonCams
ported intake Manifold kit by VQ Performance (upper/controller/lower)

Ran 236 whp base, 239 after all the modifications on 91 base tune
Ran 265/265 when on 91 with UpRev
E85 ran 279 whp, 277 ft/lbs max torque at 2400 RPM

on a tighter budget on this build or else would have gone forced induction.
so far I have ran against a few of my friends against their stock cars and was faster than them in the 1/8 mile private road:
stock:
2004 and 2010 M3
2010 Mustang GT
2009 335i

***Questions******

1. Does anyone know a mechanic that install 266 pon cams in the LA this week/next week latest that’s does great workand affordable* I’m aware this in an all day job 10-13 hours been quoted 1400-1800 looking to hopefully find a great mechanic for around 1/2 that rate. Please send me a message here or

2. Is the Idler delete worth it...?

3. Has anyone seen considerable* gains with pulley upgrades... if so which size pulleys did you go with?

1. Not sure, not from the area.
2. No
3. No, plus you risk harmonic damage to your main bearings going with a lighter non-dampened pulley, and an underdrive will screw up your AC since it's a variable pitch compressor.

The best NA horsepower mods are a plenum spacer, high flow cats, and a tune.

The best NA 5AT mod hands down is a differential from a suitable donor G that has a higher gear ratio and a Transgo shift kit, those mods will actually make your car feel substantially faster
