Chicago Auto Show
Re: Chicago Auto Show
That would be fun. Looking forward to it. What do you have in mind for the T-shirts? We really should start a club. I know everyone's schedules are busy and I know I haven't been able to meet you guys on previous meets but I think starting a club would make people commit.
Re: Chicago Auto Show
If we do it on the 7th I will be there. I'll be in London on the14th.
If we meet somewhere before hand and drive together we can kind of park together. What we need is a central location to meet first.

Hey Geo-
I had pneumonia and a sinus infection. I was down for the count. But I am back. And I come back and you are moving to Vegas??? What is the deal with that??? Does this mean no fun at F1???

Glad to hear you're all better Yeah, I'm Vegas-bound. Fun, fun, fun! ...hopefully.
I may come back for the F1 race. I want to see if I can get good tickets... shouldn't be too hard. I'm not driving though (27 hours? No thanks). Good to see you back,

Re: Chicago Auto Show
Well be sure to keep in touch when you are in Vegas. I love that place and since I did not see you in Indy we can hook up in Vegas. I'll be there in the spring most likely. Also let me know about F1. We are getting tix and I think I am staying over Fri and Sat nights.
If we have the megameet in Indy where will the party be? We were going to have it at your place. We may need to recondier and have it here in Chicago.

Re: Chicago Auto Show
Oh I'm keeping the place in Indy, too-- no problem for the party I'm more than happy to take a week off and come here for the show. Could be good publicity for our company

Re: Chicago Auto Show
Now, that sounds great! We'll have a good time! I'll let you know once I order tickets. You could have gotten tickets right next to me on race day this year. I will not accept "Can't get tickets" as an answer.
Re: Chicago Auto Show
Hi!
Wow - nice bunch of replies! Really impressed to see the Indy folk interested in coming up to Chitown for the event! Here's what I'm thinking.
Well, it seems like the 7th would be the date as some have indicated they'll be out of town the 14th plus it's Valentine's day so... What's better, doing a breakfast somewhere close to McCormic place and going early on the 7th, or meeting inside the show in the early afternoon and then all going to dinner? I'm up for the breakfast idea. Comments and suggestions please??? I can get the scoop on local restaurants once we figure out which meal we're doing. For parking, I went last year and hit the new multi-level lot and had no problems with parking. If you go early, it's generally not an issue. The later you go the more difficult it may be.
For shirts, I'm think of asking Yuichi if he'll spare me a TIF file of the G35Driver.Com window sticker design. Have any of you seen it? It's cool and although it's a coupe design, it could imposter as a sedan pretty easily too. Put that on the front on a black shirt with a white logo, then on the back put Chicago Auto Show 2004 in lettering. I know of several screen places by where I work and once we get a head count and who's interested in buying a shirt, I'll get a quote.
I'm so looking forward to this as last year was a great show!

Re: Chicago Auto Show
The 7th early for breakfast is good....get the excitement going before the show because it gets pretty chaotic at the show and don't really care to be around anyone after a few hours in those crowds! Count me in for a shirt too! Sounds good.

. Keep us posted
