(following up on the thread) Peter B is also a really good, local mechanic.

 

G35_sylvi and wongy, you guys have quite a few mods to your cars and all these performance parts. I'm just curious (not trashing): when do you actually get to "put them to use" given we're in such a small town? Do you guys track? autocross? (race from Cunningham exit to Prospect exit (haha)?

 

it's an auto. yeah we can't do any race here. i should get a civic for such a small town.

 

i have yet to take my car to the track. Its just a hobby of mine I did almost all of my installs on my own. but since i got no garage down here... i can't do my exhaust on my own.

but im hoping to track it this year

yea i really haven't got the chance to fully put all the mods to the test, but i just love having the turbo. if you guys ever wanna go for a spin let me know. Its awesome once boost kicks in. I guess you could just say i've got the mod bug...heheheh

OK, now: I saw a DG (I think) coupe on Prospect & Kirby today (Monday) at 5:45pm. It was heading East. Whose is it? :-) I was heading West...

 

not me! Just got my exhaust installed... sounds amazing! but the only thing is... now my front right tein basic coilover is squeaking!!! ITS DRIVING ME NUTS!!!! ANYONE KNOW HOW TO FIX THIS!!!!!!!!

 

There's a DG coupe on campus with a magnaflow exhaust i believe... he looked korean to me... not sure... maybe he's on here?

and oh yea! Mike! are those authentic kits you have on ur ride or replicas?? Cuz i was thinking of a ks rear and sideskirts...

 

their authentic they def cost heaps more but its well worth it, because you'll end up saving on prep and paint, makes a huge difference. let me know if you're interested and i'll see if i can hook you up.

I normally wash my car at home, but when it's really cold I go to this oil/detail/car wash place on Bradley, east of Mattis (as if you were going to Parkland). Touch-less car washes are worthless given that all the salt and other dirt have been sitting on the car for a while, so this place has the brushes. It's more expensive than the other car washes ($8 vs $5 for the cheapest), but I think it's worth it.
