Have to give credit!

Took my 05 6MT Coupe (22kmi) to the dealer on 03/7/07 for warranty repairs...

1. Leaking valve stem- would lose 10lbs of air in 2 days.

2. Climate control issues- thermostat would not work, 60*= 60* and 61*= 90* no in between.

3. Driver's seat control- the seat would just go forward by it's self and crush me into the steering wheel at will.

From reading the forum I expected terrible service and to have to fight to get the work covered under warranty. I also expected a call to say this and that also needed replacing for a total cost of $378.67 or the warranty would no longer cover other items. Instead I got....

1. A free loaner- a brand new(100mi) 07 G35X sedan. Which they let me keep for an extra day(total of 3 days) because I had to work and could not pick the car up until the next day.
2. No phone call for other "needed" repairs.
3. All items covered under warranty!
4. Free wash
5. (4) new valve stem caps- I was missing only one.
6. The service writer noticed the paint on my OEM 19's had black marks and curb rash on them(previous owner). He said they would cover the repaint if I paid for the dings($50 a wheel).
7. As I was leaving I showed the service writer the left side cushion on the driver's seat, it is completely crushed and worn out(previous owner). He said he would order a new cushion and call me when it came in to schedule the repair along with the wheels.

In 17 years that was the first time I have ever had a positive experience at a dealership! International Auto in Milwaukee, WI is awesome! I think the service was great because it is also a Porsche, Mercedes, and BMW dealer. Just thought I would share my experience.... Oh yeah, before I forget become a premier member, it's worth it!
