Yep - it's a year round car. I'm ordering a set of 17s and Dunlop wintersport M3 snow tires from tirerack. About $1200 mounted, balanced, and shipped. My wife and I both work downtown, so if it gets too bad she can ride in the HEMI with me - or call in. Anyway, we only have a two car garage and I don't want to park a winter beater in the drive all winter and then try to figure out what to do with it in March.

My car is actually at the dealer again - when they ( whoever they send it to ) applied the paint protection they oversprayed the windshield -duh! They gave me a G35x as a loaner. I was driving it last night and thinking - this would have been way more practical - then I remembered I'm only 32 and I don't know if I'm ready to be practical yet. Actually I probabyl never will. I told my wife before we got married that she would be stuck with an adult sized kid the rest of her life.

Wow there are people in Omaha that mod their G35s.

We have a 2003.5 Sedan auto (see below) w/ sport package. Brilliant Silver with Willow Leather. We've only had it about 5 weeks but we are in love with it.

The only things I've done so far are tint the windows. Looking to do a z-tube w/ a K&N, but my wife drives it 90% of the time so it's not a priority right now. I work 4 miles from home and she's at 15 miles.

 

Hey, I drove the Red Coupe w/ Navi at Lexus of Omaha. But for what they were asking for it, I could have waited and got an 05... The red coupe at Markel Ford looked nice but for us we need to have four doors. Damn it.

 

There is a use Red G35 coupe up at Beardmore right now

The one from Lexus is now mine I ended up paying $28850 for it @ 5%, 63 mos. I have waaaaay too much fun in that car...Gotta buy some new Pilot Sports in spring

Omaha G35 guys - two questions:

I was told that a G35 in town has the personal plate "SKYLINE"... if so, is that any of you guys? I'm trying to find the owner so I can ask what he'd be willing to sell the plate for... I already have "SUPRA" on my supra and I want to make the G35 a matched set of black beauties

also, I will have a set of the new 19" 2005 sport package wheels and tires for sale, are any of you local guys interested? shipping wheels is a pain so i'd rather do it locally, but i know they'd go on ebay if nobody here wants them... i plan to order my other wheels at the same time as the car so they arrive at the same time... the stock wheels/tires will have < 100 miles on them...

Hey Bill... Infiniti of Omaha is trying to find the car... the '05 6MT coupes are still extremely hard to come by... i might have to order it "from scratch" which would be 3 months or more...

i definitely still want to get together to check out your car... i've just been swamped with a few other projects (selling lots of stuff off to make $ and space for the G project )

 

the car is on order, it will be here mid april!!

Let me know if any of you local guys are interested in the OEM 19" wheels/tires...

I'm still searching for that "SKYLINE" plate!!
