Just a little story too share. I was driving on 294 going South at about 3p.m. on Friday when from nowhere this late model Supra came flying past me in the lkeft hand lane, I mean he was doing at least a 100mp.h. and within a space of about 30 seconds about 5 other cars came right behind, all doing speeds in excess of I'd guess 90-100 m.p.h. The entire left lane just seemed too open up.
I had my daughter on board, plus weather conditions weren't that favourable, but I think the "go fast" crowd are getting restless? I drove back at about 6p.m. from Lincolnshire and took 41 North, thought it might be a little safer.

When the weather even has a slight break you get the racers out. The winter it soo long for them to be good the whole time. Good for you to take another route home. It is very dangerous.

 

Typical for an open 294....you always get stuck behind an accident or a group of slow cars and then when you get an opening....everyone takes off! Funny how people slow to see the accidents and then speed off like lunatics!
