If it's gtr style I wouldn't worry about it being too dark . Wit the lights cutout u can see far away. I think the smoke style r film not vinyl so it's easier to work wit? What pecent is the tint?

 

the gt-r style came in two tint options, we chose the lighter 7/10 option, so 30% or so?? i thought bat used oracle film for all his tints...? we were considering painting the taillights at first, but thought we'd try overlays first.

 

That's agood idea. Now I know what cutout I really wants. The one I got isn't tint it's like blacked out almost like using electrical tape. But again gtr style leaves all my light shown so yea. I got pic but how do I post it up do I need to upload to photobucket?

 

here it is, again u cant see the flaws too well unless looking at it in person within 2 feet. but i will get it painted will look a lot better. this time around ill have the LEDs n side marker painted just leaving 3 circles.

SO...turns out tint pros doesn't think the overlays will work on the car...due to the curvature of its taillights. they said the best method would be painting them...lol. so i'm currently consulting with bat on whether or not we can return the overlays and get a refund...

hey, im from austin, mn i am currently living in missouri but i come home quite often, i got a lowered bs coupe 04, with a few mods. Dont see to many g's in minnesota but see quite a few down here.

 

DEFFFFFFFFF get them painted. Here's a photo of when i had my '06 coupe and how I had my tails painted.
