Anyone in the chicagoland area get their car serviced at infiniti of lisle? I am due for an oil change and I am wondering if its worth getting this done at the dealership ($35.95) or any other place? Let me know! Thanks guys

really, it depends on what your time is worth.

A dealer in socal charges ~42.95 (not synthetic)

Jiffy Lube (stand there and watch them the whole time) charge ~$25-$35 depending if you ahve coupons etc. $75 for a synthetic change, less if you bring your own oil as they always seem to be out of Mobil 1 and push penzoil.

A local Mobil dealer with a garage charges $17.95 for an oil change, and $49 for a Mobil 1 job.

All Jiffy Lubes will take spent oil if you do the job yourself.

i think they give you a car wash with it too
so there you go! if you dont do it yourself and you go to a jiffy lube anways i would say its worth it

$35.95 isn't too bad. I paid $51.51 at my last change (but I'm doing an oil consumption test). I'd rather do it myself - synthetic will cost less than regular oil change.

never went there for an oil change, but got a couple oil changes done at Woodfield Nissan. Synthetic mobil1 oil change was $59 iirc. I just started doing them myself and have been enjoying the savings.
