Hi all!

Just want to keep up with summertime events and start a sting for upcoming events that will be occuring in and around the Chicagoland area. I have found some neat Cruise night sites that have their 2004 schedules up already. Here are the links. I also am searching Yahoo and other 350Z/G35 sites pretty regularly for unannounced meets and events. I'll keep on posting and please feel free to add in anything! This might keep your creative juices flowing for some ideas on things to do!

I also know HIN's first 2004 event was on April 24th, last weekend. I'll post any shows of that nature here too as more dates are announced. There's also an Import day at Route 66 Dragstrip in Joliet on September 4th of this year. A far off date but one to keep in mind. I went last year and it was pretty cool! Drags, car show and vendors all at one place! Also, Libertyville Nissas is a sponsor of chicago350Z.com. There's a link to them on our home page and I wouldn't be surprised if they'll come up with some events this summer. And Last, Car Boutique has not yet put up their Schamburg store cruise night schedule yet. I'll add a link when they do. Those were fun, centrally located and very tame! We should do those again this year!

This coming Sunday is the Z/G meet in West Chicago - <a href ="https://g35driver.com/forums/showflat.php?Cat=&Board=6&Number=232891&page=0&vie w=collapsed&sb=5&part=" target=blank>thread</a>.

I am the only one that has replied from this forum (with the exception of XCELR8 which can't go) that is interested in going. There looks to be 4 people coming from 6mt.net and all the rest Z's (quite a few too).

Not too sure why there isn't much interest in this meet but I will be there (weather permitting).

I saw the event for the Z's. I would love to go but I can't. I would be able to do it Saturday but Sunday's going to be my mow the lawn and clean up the yard day. I haven't done it yet asnd I gotta do it. Sunday's my day as I'm busy most of Saturday! Also, it's pretty far south for me, not so bad for you though.

People keep on the lookout for upcoming Nissan/Infiniti meets during the summer in the Chicagoland area. We usually have at least 4 of them during the warmer months. The last really big one we had, we had about 70 cars show up.

Will do man....hey if anyones interested, some of us memebers meet up at the Schaumburg Hooters just about every Weds. night at around 9ish for the mwir.net (Midwest Import Racing) weekly meets. But with weather permiting that is......like today it rained. so of course there was no meet, but hopefully next Weds night will be nice to meet up. We are also having a MI meet at Omega's off of Golf road in the DesPlains area i believe this coming Sunday. Its a members only meet, but for those that are interested in joining they are welcome to come to see what we are all about PM me and ill get you that exact info if your are interested.

Check out chicagoz.com for the latest on meets. There were a total of about 8 Gs at the last meet throughout the day. There's a small get together next Thursday in the Schaumburg area.

 

Don't forget - Windy City Z club is having their car show tomorrow at Nissan of St. Charles from 10-3. I'll get out there at some point to check it out. I wish they had a 4-door Z category!!!
