Michigan Anyone?
Agreed, do it yourself. It's not that difficult. By far the hardest part is summoning up the courage to put your headlight in the oven. The rest is easy.
2 important tips.
1. Go easy with each layer of paint. Many light coats is far better than having a layer with runs/drips.
2. Try not to touch the inside of the cover. And clean it thoroughly before re-installing. Smudges on the inside will be obvious and you can't clean them later.

i am thinking about picking up some new tires for the winter. i currently have 62k miles on my car and to be honest i am getting tired of it. I drive a lot and the seats are starting to hurt my leg.
i think i might need new shocks, compression rod brushing, and new tires. i am contemplating trading it in for a g37 coupe or lexus gs350

Thanks! I've been a member here for a bit, but really never posted. I'm on 6mt.net pretty much every day - same name.
Traverse is awesome. Didn't make it up there this past summer but the GF and I might go up there this winter to do some cross-country skiing.

As for forced induction, lots of guys have done it, either turbo or super charger. I'd do lots of reading here before you decide, and don't just have anyone do it. You'll find plenty of experience and advice from members who've gone FI. TTRank has a twin turbo setup making 650+ at the wheels.
And I too love this car, especially in the winter. AWD with great snow tires is a blast. Nothing like doing a power slide around a corner. Get a little oversteer going as you turn, then give it gas to power out of it. Awesome. I love watching the moronic SUV crowd trying to drive thinking they're all that with their AWD/4WD and crappy all-seasons, and I just blow past 'em.
Welcome to the club.
