Another KS G here. Desert Platinum 03 Sedan.
A meet would be a great idea.

I can get a spot and some local shops set to put on some demos if we can get a decent size group together.
Let me know if there is any interest and ideas on dates and I can make it happen.

Calling all Kansas City G35 drivers!

I would love to get an interest meeting in forming a G35 club local to the Kansas City/Olathe/Shawnee/Leawood/Prairie Village/KCMO/Blue Springs etc. I was a member of the Baylor driving club and was the marketing manager for them, and would like to find a group of adults (recent college grad) to hang out with, talk cars, and make connections in the business world.

A bit about me: I am a recent graduate of Baylor University in Waco, TX. I graduated in 4 years with a mechanical engineering (BSME) degree, and am working currently at Burns and McDonnell Engineering (burnsmcd.com) firm as an assistant mechanical engineer in the Healthcare and Research Facilities division. I am currently working on a job for KUMed doing a central utility plant study. I love video gaming (MW2, reeno911 on XBL) and working on cars. I haven’t grown up yet, I still love drag racing (legally) out at KCIR and autocrossing.

My car: 2006 G35 coupe 6MT Premium, everything but nav and Bluetooth key, laser red, dropped on h-techs, stillen intake, bassani exhaust, Osiris tune, a few other goodies (brakes, clutch, tint, etc.) Its in mediocre condition as I had no time to work on it in college and a few parts are scraped and scratched, also got hit and am in the process of getting a new rear bumper (looking at chargespeed). Other than that, ive got double din audio with a custom 10” subwoofer in the back. Gimme a wave if you see me, I have a triple pillar pod which makes mine easy to see. Also debadged down to the mt fuji in the rear.

Anyway…
What I propose is a meeting of the KC G35’s to discuss the formation of a club. Maybe after 6 months or so of continued meetings (with 20+ people) we can look at tshirts and stickers, etc. I would be willing to set up a meeting in the near future (looking at the weekend of July 16, 17, 18) to cruise the 435 loop and take some rolling shots of everyone, ive got access to a nice camera and have honed in my cruise shooting skills. We could also find out who has access to lifts/tools/garages/buffers/etc. so we can use each others strengths to help each other out. Please post below if you would be interested in forming this club, if you are seeing this through PM, post on this link and let me know you are in. Ill keep a list on the first post (below) of cars, names, and locations so we can schedule a meet centrally. Im at 435 and state line, so im guessing somewhere around there would be our first meet (right by 435 so we can hop on and drive it!)

Heres the format for you intro, use words or whatever but have this at the bottom
Username, Name, year, Car, Coupe or Sedan, 6mt or 5at, location (whereabouts, no address), any big ticket items (TT, Supercharger), notable tools or services we can take advantage of (paint shop owner, have a rotary buffer, etc.). Also include somewhere you would want to meet up. (Legends, Town Center, etc.)
Ill start

1.06g35meister, Kevin Reene, 2006 G35 Coupe 6MT, 435/State Line, see above, Town Center or Legends
