Come on guys, some of you have lived here all your lives! lol. What would be a good park or place to host a meet? Place w/ a big lot, shelter, etc?

Tevi, how is Elm Creek Park Reserve? Its in Maple Grove but its right neXt to you. Have you been there?

I know of a lot in Saint Louis Park that's by a soccer field and park we could do it at.

Any other? We have less than 2 weeks!!

 

I'm trying to get the Maxima guy to join so he can post the meet location we had in Plymouth.

 

Looks like they did ship out those springs! So for the last summer i have my car, she will be loooow lol

Elm Creek Park Reserve could work since there's a spot for grillin and it could accomodate 30 cars or so at the spot I've been. That would only work if there aren't folks already parked in there. There's another park in Maple Grove by my work that's got a good size parking lot which would definitely work. Can't remember the name right now but I'll post that tomorrow.

Parking lot on W River Parkway and Dinkytown Trail on the Miss river
Stillwater
Porsche dealership at 394 and 169
somewhere on Minnetonka (not too familiar with this area)


I personally like the Stillwater meet along with Mississippi(scenery) or the TCF Stadium ideas. The Gophers are at Northwestern next saturday we so could tailgate it up(minus the game..haha!)

Yeah... the stadium sound like a good idea. I can't remember if we can park there tho! Anyone know? I think all the parking lots around there are for u of m student passes!

I know where the U of M is but not the stadium, and i think someone should scope out the lots first before we all drive there and cant park in it haha

 

hmmm...well they were still building the stadium the last time I was at the U. Gophers are playing away too on 26th, but I don't think there is any open lots or non paying lots open on weekends? I'm personally voting for a different site than TCF.
