I guess the only reason I had left it open was i wanted success w/ both parties(z's 'n G's). I had planned the 2 meets before this so I figured someone would kind of figure everything out but i guess not?

>lesson learned for neXt year or the future in general i guess....

Well, I'm not saying I can't/won't make it yet, but it's really hard to commit to something that isn't decided yet in any type of detail. My main thing is that I have to know what's going on so I can plan around things. If this is still a go, then let's get something pinned down! If not, let's try to get together for the last cars and coffee of the year next Saturday

I really hope it is... I'm bringing a buddy of mine that saw the pics i took last time and he REALLY wants to go now!

On a different note, my coworker is telling me that i could've bought a lotus Elise with less than what i got my G for! I'm going to go test drive one this weekend!

You'd get more performance but a lot less comfort with an Elise. I can't imagine it being too fun to live with as a daily driver.

Lake Nokomis west parking lot near Cedar Ave at 10am. It's centrally located, people from the south don't have to go through the city, and we've got Caribou Coffee and Fat Lorenzo's nearby.

Don't take this personally, but I think owners of Z's and G's are pretty busy with family life and work. It's hard to get people to commit to anything because there's always something else in the mix.

Lance, I appreciate the work you've been doing to round up the G family and get us all hooked up for a nice meet. I hope this Saturday is a great day for bringing out our toys and showing off the wax jobs.

Totally agree with ya... I've heard that the Elises aren't comfortable AT ALL. I also heard that depending on how big you are, you might not even be able to drive it well (by big I mean in weight but also height!). On the other hand, it would be SWEET to park an Elise in the parking lot at work everyday! I guess its also sweet to park the G, the nicest car in the parking lot over the president of our parent company's Porsche, too!!!!!!

I think Nokomis would be a nice place to meet, used to run there! I haven't tried Fat Lorenzo yet but I heard good things about it and maybe I'll try it this Sat.

Speaking of waxing... So I started to notice swirls on my clear coat about a month ago and it IS P:SSING ME OFF . I've used a microfiber cloth and everything but I still noticed them. Someone told me that they could've been there when i bought the car but it was waxed so i didn't notice them, it that was the case, SHADDY of the dealership! So I stopped by The Complete Garage and bought some higherend wax and thought about getting a Polisher and a Random Orbital. But I'm kinda scared to used a machine on my paint !!! Well, I might have time to used the new wax before Sat but I don't think i have enough free time

PS... any of you guys used a random orbital with polish before?

I've used an orbital and wax before. Very happy with the results. All cars will eventually start to swirl. You're going to notice a big difference in the finish once you wax it Hossam. It's going to feel smooth as butter too.
