Figured I'd give this thread a bump just to see if anyone is still out there! I'm in the STL area with an 08 G35x. It would be awesome if we could eventually get some kind of Infiniti/Nissan meet up going.

Stl guy here up in Maryland Heights. Anybody in the group done a plenum spacer?? Im new to the G, apparently its an inexpensive mod to help with a littlw performance? Is it worth the money and is it a fairly easy job? Thanks.

 

Yes i've done it. I found it to be easy. I would have no problem helping you with it. I think it's worth the money depending which engine and plenum you have. Do you have the rev-up engine or not?

 

I wish i could tell you, but i have no clue. its an 05 G35x. If instructions or a DIY is posted here i feel confident in tackling it but help is always appreciated.

 

Manuel 6spd - You have the rev-up engine, in which case you would need to get a non-rev-up lower plenum or Motordyne MREV2 to get the most out of a spacer.

Auto - You have the non rev-up and a spacer would be the best bang for your buck mod you can do.

 

Got it, yep, ive got the auto and 300 dollars for a little power upgrade is definitely a steal in my book. Looking at the MD iso thermal copper 5/16th.
