^Nice work Janik! I just got my sport bumper painted but I haven't put it on yet but it looks sweet man way better than my ugly journey front lol. I also have the 09 g37 oem trunk lip spoiler but I'm debating on whether or not I should put it on, think anyone locally might want the spoiler?

I'll give you a deal Janik, the spoiler is new but didn't come with any hardware at all it only has some double sided tape underneath but I'm sure if you contacted the Infiniti dealership they maybe able to get those for you and possibly even install it. I checked under the spoiler and it has a nissan logo so I know it is OEM but theres no hardware Shoot me a PM with an offer

shiiiiiii ttttt!!! just got my second tint ticket in a month,in mpls, by the same cop...anyone else have this much trouble??
the cop said its illegal to have tint on the rear window as well..
i thought u could have tint on the back windows but not the 2 front..
this is making me want to put 50% on....

 

that sucks man. That's exactly what I thought but according to Janik, and I think he's right, is that's only on trucks. For cars, its 50% all around! That's sucker douchy of that cop tho... TWICE? that's stupid

 

35% on back, 50% on front and your golden. Haven't been bothered once.

just drove through the entire campus last week with zero problems. Saw prob 5 cops as well.

I also used to drive through EVERY day for about a year and a half with my impala(DD)...5% all around with a window banner.

 

Maybe that particular cop wasn't on duty when you drove through, but both of our infinitis were pulled over by him for window tint. We looked up his record and he has something against imports, so your impala would've been fine. Right after he pulled us over, a chrysler 300c drove past with limo tint.

he was! he even had his hand on his gun when he walked up to our cars, both times! what are we going to do? shoot him?

we entered his name on the internet and we saw that hes had a lot of complaints against him as well as 9 police brutalities. i don't know why the force would keep an a s s like him on the force...seems like a waste if hes going after cars just for their window tint.

 

U of M cops are known for brutality. They're on both sides of the spectrum, Some are super cool and will have a beer with you and others are complete asses. But since all the muggings and rapings that have been happing on campus the last 3 years they've been getting a lot of scrutiny. I live right next door to the U of M (como). I have 15% tint all the way around. Havent been stopped once. I also have a prescription so if i do get stopped i'm golden

Find an optomologist and have him so some tests on you and use any irregularity to get a prescription for window tint

yeah, i wasn't aware that pawlenty passed a law in 09 about 50% all around for cars, yet suvs, trucks and vans are exempt due to factory tint?!?!?! thats the most ridiculous thing i've ever heard! what difference does it make? they're all vehicles...

i'm still keeping my back tint to 35%, i don't give a f**k.

 

who ever has the authority to write a prescription can write one for you. But an ortho doc writing you a prescription for window tint will look fishy if a cop pulls you over. Keep that in mind


On another note... if this gov't shutdown goes through a bunch of state troopers are put on leave.... Anybody in the mood to max out their cars on some country roads?
