Hi, how is everyone doing? Ugh wish I had time to check up on this place more often.. But anyway, I am getting new G35 like in a week or so?... And I have to admit that I'm nervous.. Not in a good way. Because I don't know if it's a car that I want anymore.. I was sick of driving the g35 sedan, no offense to anyone (had it for year) sooo I'm going to get the coupe but afraid that I would get tired of it the same way haha and might want a different car within a year.. which is very impractical if you ask me lol.. What keeps you guys interested in the g35?

P.S. Locksmith white sedan looks flawless.. I'm jealous! =P

Thanks I honestly think that with ANY car you get over time you'll get sick of it unless you mod it steadily over time, you don't have to mod it much but I feel that every little mod I've done to any of my cars seem to keep me more interested in it and I tend to keep the car longer and enjoy it more but it all depends on the person... you might be better off leasing a car if you get sick of them so quickly

As these guys know, im in and out of this car ALL the time. Some days i'll go test drive something and be like "time to sell" then i'll go to demod and not want to.

Then theres the matter that i have 0 clue what i want to replace it with. I want a pickup, then i want an SUV, then i want a slightly bigger car, then i want another 6mt G sedan. I have no clue ever what i'd like to replace it with.

Right now im in a like it stage. Im getting my bumper repainted finally, and maybe doing some new things to it. Not to mention that this will be my first winter since my Chevy Trailblazer with a car that has heated seats (never drove it in the snow, so this will be a new experience)

Bleh. I honestly think that when i DO sell this car, it will be for a crew cab pickup truck. I want a truck and i want to own it. Then i'll go and lease a 6mt G sedan or a Merc C350, or something later on down the road. I just need something more practical, but still own a car so im not sucking up so much gas.

Im too indecisive.

Ugh decisions, decisions! How practical is the coupe in the winter though, for those who have pushed it through? Because most likely this coupe that I am getting will be driven during the winter as well.. That's why I'm scared. The sedan that I have isn't AWD but I was wondering if the performance would be worse for a coupe? If I do decide to lease on a car it would probably be a 2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe.. I thought it was ugly on online but saw one in person and I was blown away!... Lol. But other than that I think I'm going buy and own a G35 coupe.. Just for the experience hehe but don't get me wrong, I love these cars and if I stick around this website longer I might decide to keep it longer! Sorry that I'm just rambling lol I'm just so under pressure..

I'm not the guy to ask if you want to drive a coupe in the winter, lol. I did it last year and I won't do it again this year-and that's with winter tires. That's just one guys experience though. If you do drive it, I would HIGHLY suggest getting a good set to very good set of winters. Cheapo dedicated winters on my FWD cars in the past have been plenty sufficient for most occasions but these lower end winters I have for the coupe were sketchy and downright scary at times. I wouldn't do anything less than good winter tires.

As to your comment about will you get bored of the coupe...I think Fanyan hit it right...If you do enough changing to keep it interesting, it will be, but otherwise, it can get boring (not meaning it will though). But for reference, there have been more people on this local board that have sold their coupes than sedan owners that have sold their sedans.

Nic sold his coupe for a Trailblazer SS, and now hes selling that and his girls Audi A4 for a Cadillac Escalade... (i know, right? Nics a pimp lol)

And Fanyan, the interior in that QX was GORGEOUS. SO nice and SO many features.

Thanks for the advices everyone. Now back to car shopping! I want to get it before I start school again... Speaking of which, Wannabe6MT, did you say that you were going to Normandale? I've been there for almost three years, lol.
