Janik I'm pretty sure we're renting a U-haul, and we'd be willing to take my car, the Exploder, and the Altima... but congrats on the bumper getting fixed up, I wanna see it.

I really need you to help me clean up my car. They've been repaving prairie center drive and driving over the gravel is making me cringe.

im probably going to have to have you take up my two chairs. The rest of the crap i will probably just force into the G.

And i should have time this week. We will have to spend some time on your car, but its definitely doable in less than a day. Whats your off days this week?

Just got a call from Steve. The G sedan is going to be traded off for a Civic (well, he leased it, so maybe a G again in 3 years?) Now i officially have no sedan brethren besides FilmG. Well, and Fanyan, but his is newer and better than mine so he doesnt count LOL

The OGs of the MN chat are gone. Now its just me and Peng. I still remember that first meet Peng came to. We were down by Calhoun and we did that shoot up in CR.

Good memories! And that trip to Duluth was a highlight for the OGs.

Ummm...the place I WOULDN'T recommend is jiffy lube on White Bear Avenue. They put the wrong kind of trans fluid in my mom's rav4 and it ran like @ss afterwards and their customer service to fix it was $hitty too until we complained to corporate.

I just take my car to Luther Infiniti and bite the bullet on the $40 they charge because my car is still under warranty and I don't want them to have a reason to deny any claims.

+1 on Luther Infiniti. Their prices are pretty comparable to any of those jiffy crap shops. Even if its only a couple bucks more, i like the peace of mind that i have a trained infiniti technician working on my car that works on them all day long instead of some high school drop out that changes oil on various different vehicles.

You're kidding right?

its called "luther infiniti of bloomington"...hmmm, that should give you a hint, and I would agree w/ Janik/Peng that its by far the best service and competitive prices. They'll even give you a rental for the cost of $7- and that's just to cover some of the gas used.

chee_dog, if you wouldn't have minded doing it yourself and it's just a matter of time, I say just take it to any reputable place. It's pretty hard to screw up an oil change so long as they are actually changing the oil/filter and refilling it with proper viscosity. I'm thinking most places will probably run 30-40 bucks for full synthetic. If my car wasn't under warranty, I probably wouldn't be taking it to Inifiniti either seeing as I'm probably spending 10 dollars in gas just to make the round trip on top of the 40. I'd do it myself or I think the Nissan by me will do it for 30.

I know a goodyear near us over tightened the bolt back into the oil pan on my dad's truck. Apparently they needed to use air tools just to take of one bolt?
