Shops in MI
Was just wondering if any of you Michigan owners know of good shops in the Detroit area. Im thinking about doing a Double-Din conversion first, so are there any good custom audio places around here? Prob gonna do some engine mods next spring..
This is my first post here. Hopefully I can make it to your next meet. I didn't know there was a group for MI owners until this week.
Maybe some of you've seen me driving around, cause Ive driven by a few g35 owners. I have a red 6mt w/ 4pc bodykit and am usually in the Troy/Sterling Heights area.

Re: Shops in MI
g35FLIP,
I posed the same question in this forum & the Audio forum a few months back. I did not get any response. I stopped by a few places in Macomb & Wayne county to check 'em out. The only one I found remotely impressive was http://www.cartunesstereo.com/.
I am picking up my sedan today.
Good line of merchadise & quality custom shop. The Roseville store is also conveniently located between work and home for me.
Although, I would have driven many miles for good install.

Thanks.. I found a place nearby, Autoway.. http://www.autowayinc.com/.. I talked to the owner over there and he gave me an estimate. They were pretty helpful. My main concern is getting the double-din conversion installed, but he said it shouldn't be a problem. Now I just gotta find a place to order it and the other parts..

Autometric Collission.

I have had them work on multiple company vehicles with great results. Not inexpensive, however.

Re: Shops in MI
I have seen plenty of BWMs there. One of the local dealers (Bavarian) used them for body work. I do not believe they have a body shop at the Gratiot location. Bavarian's new locale on M59 may have one. They have done nice work on my wife mini vans. Multiple vans + Multiple benders.
