Anyone in Indy have the Motordyne Plenum Spacer installed? Or a Crawford or Kinetix? I am really interested in these plenum mods, but I kind of wanted to see if anyone local had taken the plunge. If so, is it a worthwhile mod? Noticeable difference?

 

So, I got my spacer installed last week. The install was pretty easy, just time consuming. I followed Hydrazine's step-by-step instructions and it took a little over an hour to install the spacer. I then exectued an ECU reset and immediately took the car out for a spin. I have z-tube and drop-in K&N as my only other mods. I did not immediately notice any increase in sound or power. Keep in mind that I only took it out for a brief 5 minute drive. I did not get a chance to really open it up until the weekend. All I can say is the difference in power above 4000 rpm is noticeable. I also now notice more growl in the induction sound. I also removed the little plastic piece on the stock intake to free up some more air. When I go WOT now, the car sounds pretty mean. At any rate, for anyone in Indy considering this mod, I highly recommend it. BTW, I got the 3/8" spacer.
