I am planning to buy a new 2005 G35x with Package C. Can you guys tell me what would be a very good deal. I live in Chicago suburbs, I visited the Motor Werks dealer on Randall / Barrington and he offered me the car for $34,315 + tax + docs + license.
Can you please tell me what you got for a similar equipped car, should I wait till the 06 models are out? Are there any major changes planned for the 06?

Please post your pice details, so I could negotitate based on your suggestions.

Well i got my 05 g35 coupe 6mt about a month ago, i got it for 36,056 out the door after everything with nav, premium, and aero package...my parents and i got to the dealer when they opened and left around 5... so a good 8 hrs lol, we test drove it sat in the demo for like hours hahha, and finally got the price down to what it was... it wasn't a bad deal but i'm sure if we talked for another 2 more hours i could of got it lowered.. hahha but yeah i got mine from fields in glenview, but i had to wait for it to come in, it took 3 months... soo do you have to wait too or is the car in the lot ready to go home??? That price is pretty good, i would go for it!

 

You said you got yours for 36,056, is that including the taxes?
As for availability, my dealer says he has everything available on the lot, so no waiting.

I am not sure if I should hold off till the 06 come out and get a discount on the 05's?

i'm not sure what are all the changes between 05 vs 06. i paid 34.5k for mine. 04g35x with navi and bose extras. but i did trade my old car in. so, not sure if i got a good deal out of that or not.
