Re: air intakes

Satch,

I have a Stillen. So does silvrG35. I also have the 350Z duct attached to it! Did it all myself. I'm no mechanic but it was pretty easy. heard about probs with the Injen's on coupe 6M/T's stalling the car when idling at fast speeds. Stillen looks stock, sounds great and uses a K&N filter. Costs more but no stalls or chances of hydrolocking!

If you get one, let me know as I can give you some pointers!

'03.5 G35 BS Sedan (I love that acronym!)
Stillen Intake, 350Z duct
Hyper-Ground Kit
Lowered!
Bulbs all around!
Splash Guards - Aero
Need Exhaust, Twin Turbo or NOS!

Re: air intakes

I have the new injen 6mt and no problems. I kept it short so it isn't hanging down by the front grill......so no fear of hydrolock. Works well and sounds like a Hoover vaccuum mixed with an airplane taking off.

Re: air intakes

THe injen cold air intake you can do no problem. It takes about 45 min total to take old one off and add new one. Very easy but I didn't install the heat shield it comes with....no problem at all.
