Tomorrow night is another Car Boutique Cruise Night but I can't make it. There's also the last one of the year on Thursday August 28th. The Car Fun on 21 Import night is on Wednesday August 27th in downtown Libertyville. That's also the start of Harley's 100th. What else is going on???

Is there anything going on this weekend??? Putting on my Borla, drilled pedals, and intake tomorrow. That was the last of my wishlist now completed.

 

Nope. There is an import show at McCormick Place on saturday. Dunno how good it will be though. It's call Extreme Autofest.

 

I saw a flyer on that Extreme Autofest and to me it looks worse than HIN was. I'm going to pass on this one and save my money. Two cruise nights next week and I have Friday off so...

What about we plan a big 2004 Chicago Auto Show get together for February next year???? We can go drool and laugh and the RX8 and gawk at the Enzo Ferrari!

Gingerman is really great too. I was there early this summer for a track event and they do a first class job. You usually have to take a day off work because they only have week day events. Monday is nice. Drive up Sunday night and get to the track early on Monday. It is a long day but just great.

They have strict rules and it is worth the trip.

 

I've been there many times. It is a very forgiving track, in terms of run-off room, yet it is challenging. There is a date in October for tracktime; PM me for details.
