Ive been lurkin for a bit as well as posting, so not brand BRAND new, but I am definitely brand new to owning my own g35. Just picked mine up on Monday (18 May). Its an 07 IP with 22k miles on it. Premium package with Navi.. yadda yadda. I love it and will be leaving stuff to it in my WILL if I die... lol.

Ah Blue, my arch nemesis! How goes it? J/k. Yeap, the trip was well worth it. More so the return trip as the car is really fun to drive and comfortable. Cant say much for my passengers, as they didnt care for the back too much, but oh well.

First 3 mods huh? Honestly, hadnt really put much thought into it. I like it the way it is and Im quite the minimalist when it comes to stuff like that. I like clean, and stock-ish looking. Having said that, I do have a tint appointment next Sat at which time I will be debadging the "G35" and the "INFINITY" off the back.

I was also looking at the different front grills people have and I like a few of them, so maybe that as well. Also, I saw that 4080 sub enclosure, and thought about tossing a 10 in the back using that. Other than that though... I dont think im really going to do too much. Oh, and that Kazuma bumper is pretty nice too. MAY do that, but its not really on the list of important things to do.

 

Bleh.... well.... got an update for yall. After reading and reading and reading and reading some more about all the various recalls and ITBs and such. I cam across the one involving "oil consumption" and guess what.... its looking like mine is showing those signs. Checked the oil level on the stick and it was definitely only half way up. So, to the dealer she went today.

Although I NEVER EVER EVER EVER buy an extended warranty on ANYTHING. I decided that this time around, with this being a nicer car, i would get whatever their best warranty was. So, Ive got the elitegivemedomeshotswheneveriaskforthem warranty with all the bells and whistles. Looks like that will start to pay for itself, lol.

 

Another update to my update.... So, it is officially on. The dealer has started the "Oil consumption tracking." They topped off my oil level and told me to return in 1k miles for a re-measurement. Not sure how many measurements or times I have to do this before they determine my motor needs to get pulled, but let the games begin!

Car looks awesome. When you said it was a 2007, I immediately thought of the new body style. I forgot the Coupe didn't change until '08. You got the best of both worlds, a year newer car and the better looking body.
