i suggest you visit www.autopia-carcare.com, and read all their HOW-TOs. they have very valuable info. i have purchased the "perfect shine kit," and it has worked wonders!! you will also need a Porter Cable. also look into Klasse All-In-One (AIO) and a good wax. works like a charm. all i would suggest you do is AIO followed by a good wax for now. then later this year you might have to bust out with the PC to remove swirls and imperfections if you have any. shouldnt be a problem though if you never let the dealer touch it. good luck

For all of you that are as **** as me about our G's, there is only one place to order car care products: griotsgarage.com

This place has everything and its products are the best. I've had friends use them on their porsches and they have been needless to say impressed. If you are looking for a place to get all sorts of intricate car care products not just wax, than this is the place for you

Enjoy!

NOTE: pay the money to get the car care book....tells you alot of secrets that have saved me hours.

first you're going to need a
washmit sheepwhatever
some soap i use miguaire(spelling) gold class
some claybar. claybar is claybar just get some mothers or goto www.autopia.org and buy it at their store
two buckets. one for the soap and another for a wash (put mit inside bucket one, wash car, rinse in bucket two, put mit inside bucket one, etc, etc)
you should get a portercable later down the road.
and u can get some sonus pads or something else to your liking don't use different polished on the same pad.

now with the polishes.
you can go with zaino steps.
or klasse all in one and finish with the SG(sealent glaze)
or menzerma is a good polish
Souveran Paste Wax(suppose to be real good but it's 79.99 a pack
i personally don't like meguaires or 3m on poslishs and sealents.

and you need to seal your polish with either p21s carnuba wax or something else u like.
for glass use stoner.
lexol for leather
and i use armor all for the dash
and get a clear bra for your front bumper if u like to tailgate alot.

find all this stuff at
http://www.autopia-carcare.com/
http://www.properautocare.com/index.html
i think detailimage.com has some good stuff.

Either get quality stuff over the internet Zaino (i use this) or you can get some meguiar's car care. Soap, Claybar, Wax, Tire Dressing, Leather Conditioner. If you want to learn more Zaino has a really deatailed instructions on how to wash and wax the car with thier products.

Welcome, to the family of B/O coupe owners. I suggest your first purchase for your new baby should be a clear bra. Enjoy.
